The Dodgers came out strong scoring three runs in the bottom half of the 1st inning on four hits. The bats slowed down from there not recording a hit until the 6th inning when the Dodgers broke out again for three runs topped off by B-Ray's 6th home run of the year. Mike Young continued his quest for the batting title going 2-3 with a triple and a single. Kyle Leslie came in relief and pitched four innings of no hit ball while recording seven strikeouts, including the TSN turning point striking out 3 consecutive hitters with runners on 1st and 2nd.
