The Mudcats Ron Clarkson went 3-4, including a two out single in the bottom of the seventh to drive in the winning run and stun the Cobras 5-4. The Cobras were up 4-1 going into the bottom of the sixth, when the Mudcats scored three times, aided by a John Yeomans double, to tie it and set up the game winner in the seventh. Wayne Hales was outstanding earning the win with a complete game four hitter allowing just one earned run. A great catch with one out in the bottom of the seventh off a Corey Garrett line drive to center prolonged the game for Ron Clarkson to be the hero. The loss is the Cobras first since August 7 of last season, again vs. the Mudcats.
