The Mudcats came back from a 4-1 deficit scoring the tying run in the top of the 7th. Jami Wurster pitched great and only gave up 2 hits. It turned out to be a pitching duel again as both teams struggled to hit the ball hard. The Red Sox Jami Wurster pitched a sound game allowing only a bunt single and a infield hit in 6 2/3 innings. Ron Clarkson pitched well and pitched out of trouble a few times in his 5 innings on the day. John Yeomans pitched in relief and pitched 2 2/3 inning of shutout ball and finished off the bottom of seven with a strike out with runners on 2nd and 3rd bringing the game to extras. The Mudcats went down in order in the top of 8 thanks to great pitching again by Darren "IRON MAN" Pouwells. After recording 2 the first outs John walked Crispy, then Burrows leaned ever so slightly (ok maybe not) over the inside of the dish and took the free-pass to 1st. The coaching staff decided it was "TIME" and turned the hill to "Seasoned Veteran" Wayne hales to record the games final out.
