On a cool overcast night at Larry Walker, the Razorbacks and Athletics locked horns in a 2-2 tie after two innings. The A's broke it open with five runs in the third keyed by Paul Weaver's 2-run single. The A's added two more in the 4th and three in the fifth on a Kevin Stack 3 rbi double to put the game out of reach. The A's continued to hit the ball well pounding out 14 hits. It also marked the return Brad Robinson (1-1, 2 runs) and Jesse Wilson (1-3, Rbi) to the squad. The win now give the A's more wins this season than their total in two previous years combined.
