Winning Pitcher
Wayne Hales

Yet another evenly matched R-Back - Mudcat tilt, with the Mudcats stringing together hits when it counted in this one. In the bottom of the 4th, with 2 out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Charles Thacker hit a rbi single to score the eventual game winning run. Wayne Hales continued his ways on the hill picking off another 2 R-Back runners at 1st bringing this years total to astonishing, 12 or 14 (scorebook ??). The big #24 was heard before the game saying he really needed a win this year.
