Winning Pitcher
Kyle Leslie

Nothing like making history... The Dodgers and Razorbacks can now officially say they have played the "hottest" game in PMBL history! With temperatures reaching the mid to high 30's the Dodgers and Razorbacks were seriously contemplating calling a game because of heat, but they didn't and the game went on. With the Dodgers coming off a fresh loss to the Red Sox they knew they had to put on a great performance to keep their 1st place position in tack, and they did. It was hard fought battle with Barry Babcock and Kyle Leslie dueling it for 7 innings each. The Razorbacks made some untimely errors which caused a couple runs, the Dodgers on the other hand played one of their first errorless games in recent memory. Kyle Leslie, who played 18 holes of golf earlier in the day, thought there was no way he would be able to give a solid outting in this blistering heat, but he did. After the first inning he was telling B-Ray to be ready because he had 2 maybe 3 innings in him at the most. After a quick 3rd, quick 4th and quick 5th he decided to go the distance giving up just one run. Steve Cavanagh and Darren Silcox both had solid games at the plate going 3 for 3 with 1 rbi and 2 for 4 with 3 rbi's respectively. Travis Grozdanich continues to slump without his 34/31 Stealth that Tyler Dawes broke in the Mudcats game. It's almost like a 2 year old who can't do anything without his "wooby". Get over it Travis and start hitting the ball already
