Winning Pitcher
Ryan Van Brabant

Much to B-Rays disappointment the Cards/Birds had a slugfest Sunday morning as each team pounded out double figure hits. Kevin Beaudry was pitching a solid game until he rolled his ankle and had to be relieved by Ryan Van Brabant, who pitched a solid 3+ innings to get the win over a battling Firebirds squad led by solid pitching by the Boscher Bros. As usual the birds got clutch hits driving in big runs by Mike Willcox. The Cards were led at the plate by Ryan VB who went 3-3 with 1run scored and 2 rbi, as well as a couple of crusty veterans Howie Snyder 2-4 with a double, rbi and 2 runs scored and Steve "big daddy" Rizzo going 2-3 with a double, 2 rbi and a run scored. TK made a couple great plays at short late in the game to stop any rally by the Firebirds and Scott Watson was solid behind the dish handle the Cards pitching staff.
