The Firebirds committed 8 errors in the first inning to spot the Mudcats a 5'er and basically give away a well pitched game by Bill Boscher. Legendary old-timer Rick Doran was heard saying it was the worst half inning he's ever witnessed in his 18 year career. The Firebirds were also not able to capitalize on 12 walks and 2 hit batters by the Mudcats pitching.
