The Cobra's wives and kids had a special treat in store for their Cobras on fathers day. The Cobras played their third game in three days against the Redhawks but it was the bbq, salads and cupcakes after the game that had the Cobra players excited. Murray "silver fox" Beavais had 3 burgers but 0 hotdogs. Winning pitcher, Orien Matsubara, had 3 hot dogs but 0 burgers. Doug Perkins decided to change things up a bit and had 3 cupcakes but 0 burgers or hot dogs. At the end of the night the wives of the Cobras SWEPT up after the dinner. A special thanks to the wives and kids. Cobras were led by Orien, as the second year player was a home run short of the cycle going 4-5 and pitching his second complete game of the weekend against the Redhawks in the Cobras 12-5 win. The win for the Cobras gave them a 3-0 sweep against the Redhawks for the weekend. When first year skipper, Steve Jack, was asked about the weekend, he said "the boys are starting to play some solid ball. We have the same players as last year but sometimes a change in management is all a team needs." Take that Bruce
