The Athletics improved to 4-0 when All-Star Jesse (Owen) Wilson is away. Rumors are swirling around the organization about a possible change in manager before the playoffs. The Athletics have a decision to make whether to keep Jesse on the playoff roster or not. Stay tuned. Todd Campbell went 3-4 with a double and two RBIs. Warren Eamer went 3-4 with a double and a stolen base. Steve Yoon went 2-3 with a double, RBI, and run scored. Down by one run in the bottom of the sixth Roger Hassman singled driving in Warren Eamer to tie the game. Todd Campbell then doubled driving in two more to give the Athletics a 5-3. The Mudcats drew close with one in the seventh but stranded the tying run on third.
