Bill Boscher

Bill Boscher pitched a complete game and won for the third time in 2008. The Firebirds led 1-0 in the bottom of the third when Paul Cuffley and Troy Miller had back to back RBI's to take a 2-1 lead for the Razorbacks. The Firebirds scored five times in the top of the fourth highlighted by a two run single by Vince Thorndycraft. The Razorbacks fought back and made it 6-4 when Rick Kim smacked a two out, two run double in the fifth. The Firebirds iced it in the sixth by scoring three, two of which scored when Don Boscher singled. Darryl Palmer, Vince Thorndycraft and Nobuo Sakata all had a pair of hits for the Firebirds. Paul Cuffley, Troy Miller and John Turnbull each had multiple hit games for the Razorbacks.
