Darren Silcox

Darren Silcox gave up three earned runs in 6 1/3 innings while striking out a season high four batters. In the seventh inning, he moved to the catcher position and threw out a pair of runners which would have put the Firebirds in position to tie the game. Bob Neufeld, Mike Willcox and Rick Doran all had two hits for the Firebirds. Mike Young went 3-3 for the second consecutive game.
